NYPC successfully hosted the first night of Persian Movie Nights series on Friday April 24th. Award Winning Documentary, Football Under Cover, engaged the viewers’ interest and sparked quality questions during the discussion session.
This was a joint effort between NYPC, New York Persian Cultural Center, and Shirzanan Global, a voice for Muslim females in sport. The event was followed by a brief discussion about sports and women’s challenges in Iran. Viewers filled out a survey form to request their favorite movies or type of movies that they would like to see at PMNs.
